An Augmented High Side Block in the form Pyongwon

An Augmented High Side Block (also called an Augmented High Outward Block, or kodureo olgul yeop makgi) is a block in which the blocking arm protects the upper side of the body with the inner forearm (the thumb-side of the forearm). The palm of the fist faces the head. The assisting arm is positioned in front of the solar plexus with the palm of the fist facing downward.

The Augmented High Side Block appears, for example, in the form Pyongwon.
