Dan-Gun is an ITF/Chang'Hon pattern. It has 21 movments and is diagrammed as a capital I. It's named after Dan-Gun, the legendary founder of Korea in the year 2,333 B.C.E.

- Start in the Ready Stance.
- 1) Turn left 90 degrees and Left Low Block in a Left Walking Stance .
- 2) Step forward into a Right Walking Stance and Right Punch.
- 3) Pick up the right foot and turn right 180 degrees into a Right Walking Stance and Right Low Block.
- 4) Step forward into a Left Walking Stance and Left Punch.
- 5) Pick up the left foot and tum left 90 degrees into a Left Walking Stance and Left Low Block.
- 6) Step forward into a Right Walking Stance and Right Punch.
- 7) Pick up the right foot and turn right 180 degrees into a Right Walking Stance and Right Low Block.
- 8) Step forward into a Left Walking Stance and Left Punch.
- 9) Pick up the left foot and turn left 90 degrees into a Right L Stance (back stance, left foot forward) and Left Inner Forearm Outward Block.
- 10) Step forward into a Right Front Stance and Right Punch.

- 14) Step forward into a Right Walking Stance and Right Punch.
- 15) Pick up the right foot and turn right 180 degrees into a Left L Stance (back stance, right foot forward) and Right Inner Forearm Outward Block.
- 16) Step forward into a Left Walking Stance and Left Punch.
- 17) Step forward into a Right Walking Stance and Right Punch (Kihap).
- 18) Step the right foot backward into a Left Walking Stance and Left Punch.
- 19) Step the left foot backward into a Right Walking Stance and Right Punch.
- Finish - move the left leg forward to return to the ready position.
