A Diagonal Kick (also called a Forty-five Degree Roundhouse Kick) is like a partial Roundhouse Kick. Your body is not fully turned to the side as you strike. In other words, it's like a Roundhouse Kick in that you start to turn sideways as you kick, but you don't turn entirely sideways: the front of your body is still partially facing your opponent. The Diagonal Kick is not as powerful as the Roundhouse Kick but it's faster.
