Han Mu Do is a modern, Korean hybrid martial art developed by Dr. Kimm Hee Young (born 1940). In his youth Kimm practiced several martial arts, including judo and hapkido. In 1963 Kimm emigrated from Korea to the United States and there developed his own style. In 1991 he began referring to his new style as Han Mu Do.
