A High Outward Block in Taegeuk Yook Jang

A High Outward Block (also called a High Side Block, High Outside Block, or olgul yop makgi) is performed very much like a middle-height Outward Block, except that the blocking arm is brought higher upward, as if to block the face from an attack from the side.

The High Outward Block (or High Side Block) appears, for example, in the form Taegeuk Yook Jang.
