Shin, Jae Chul (December 20, 1936 - July 9, 2012) was a prominent Korean martial artist and one of the most important figures in spreading the Korean martial arts throughout the United States. His most notable accomplishments include founding the United States Tang Soo Do Federation (Later United States Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation U.S. MDK TSD Federation) in 1968 and the World Tang Soo Do Association (WTSDA) in 1982.
