A Low Knifehand Opening Block (also called Double Knifehand Low Opening Block, sonnal area hecho makgi) is a Low Opening Block that's performed with a knifehand. At the end of the block the knifehands are held with the palms facing down. The arms should be positioned symmetrically at about a forty-five degree angle to the body.
The Low Knifehand Opening Block appears, for example, in the form Taebaek.
