Taekwondo 2D - Overlapped Hand Posture ( 겹손준비 Gyeopson-junbi )

Overlapped Hands Posture from Taekwondo Preschool

Pyongwon OverlappingHands

The Overlapping Hands posture is used, for instance, in the form Pyongwon.

Overlapped Hands posture (or gyeopson junbi; or in ITF-style taekwondo this is known as Closed Ready Stance Type C) is a ready posture with both hands overlapped slightly in front of the belt, left hand over right, both hands flat. Feet are together, legs are straight. The hands should not be touching each other.

This posture appears, for example, in the WTF form Pyongwon, and in the ITF exercise Four Direction Thrust.
